We visited the open house for Leah and Emerson's upcoming wedding,
and here are some of the photos.
(Sorry, I only did pictures of people I know, and I missed some of
them, so this is far from everyone).
Zach mentioned something about cake and disappeared.
I should have listened a little more carefully...
(Note chunks of missing cake at the bottom).
Guess which one didn't want to be in the picture...
I just missed this one. Synchronized refreshment.
Yes, I got a picture of that previous expression...
Posed shots. Gotta have some posed shots.
Awww...
At various points throughout the afternoon, Leah had been giving
Emerson little kisses on the cheek, and of course I didn't get
a single one of them on (virtual) film.
So after the posed shots, I asked Leah to give Emerson a kiss,
and she translated the request to Emerson.
Emerson sounded really surprised and Leah laughed and corrected
her Spanish.
Evidently she had accidentally told him that I wanted a kiss, and
she had to explain that I actually wanted her to kiss him.
I was a little surprised (I guess I shouldn't have been) when I
got this picture.
When the shutter clicked, I said, "Thanks" and immediately started
kicking myself for interrupting them.
A second or so later one of them said, "Thank *you*"
(for the excuse to smooch).
I smiled a lot on my way home.
